English professor receives grant to integrate environmental education into K-12 language arts curriculum

Dr. Jarod Rosell贸, a professor in the Department of English, received a grant from The Spencer Foundation to fund a one-year program aimed at integrating environmental education into the K-12 Language Arts curriculum.

A group of 24 USF students and Dr. Judithanne Scourfield McLauchlan, associate professor in the School of Interdisciplinary Global Studies, traveled to South Carolina to work on the frontlines of the U.S. presidential campaign trail as part of the Road to the White House 2024 course.

USF plans to launch college focused on artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and computing

The goal of creating the new college positions the Tampa Bay region and state of Florida as a national leader in the rapidly evolving fields of artificial intelligence (AI), cybersecurity and computing. USF is the first university in Florida and among the first in the nation to announce plans to create a college dedicated to AI and cybersecurity.
