Equipment Rentals

Equipment Rental Notice 

Due to unforseen circumstances, our outdoor recreation equipment, with the exception of 4-person tents and sleeping bags, will be unavailable for rental at this time. 91麻豆天美 apologize for any inconvenince this may bring you as you plan for your outdoor adventures.

The ORC has a variety of camping and outdoor equipment available for rental at very low costs. Tents range from small two person backing packing tents to large six person car camping tents. Tents are not the only thing in stock, so if you need a stove, cooking equipment, sleeping pads, sleeping bags, lanterns, backpacks, headlamps, flashlights, mess kits, or anything else, come visit the staff in the ORC.  All reservations and rentals must be made in person during the Outdoor Resource Center hours. The ORC is located inside the main Campus Recreation Center on the lower floor, REC 013.

 

Renting & Returning a Bike

Renting

• Come to the Campus Recreation Center and enter through the front entrance with your student ID
• Walk downstairs to the Outdoor Resource Center (Room 013)
• Ask the Outdoor Recreation staff member for a bike rental of either a mountain bike or cruiser bike
• The staff member will get a bike, helmet, lights, lock, and key for you to borrow
• Sign the liability wavier form and the agreement form for the bike rental
• Present your student ID to have the equipment checked out onto your account
• The staff member will assist you in taking the bike out of the facility
• Bring the equipment back within a week

Returning

• Come to the back of the Campus Recreation Center near the CWY building
• Enter the ramp
• Head down the ramp if you are retuning the bike during business hours
• Call the number posted on the door and wait for a staff member to escort you to the ORC for check in
• Pay any late or lost equipment fees with a credit card

Rental Guidelines

• Bring your USF ID to rent equipment
• Arrive 30 minutes prior to closing to pick up equipment
• Allow 20 minutes when you pick up the equipment to learn about the gear
• All equipment must be returned clean, dry, and in good condition
• Fees will be assessed for late, wet, dirty, and/or damaged equipment
• You must sign and agree to the rental policies presented in the ORC
• Due to USF policy, Outdoor Recreation can only accept Visa & Mastercard payments
