Catarina Reyes Santinho, PsyD, Licensed Psychologist

Pronouns: she/her/hers/ella

Language in which I conduct therapy: English and Spanish

My approach to therapy: I am a Colombian and Portuguese daughter of immigrants, and my cultural background plays a meaningful role in how I connect with and support others. My therapy style is warm, flexible, and grounded in a deep respect for each person's lived experience. I use an integrative approach that draws from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), psychodynamic theory, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I believe in meeting people where they are and honoring the complexity of their identity, values, and history.

I specialize in working with eating disorders and have extensive experience treating individuals across the spectrum of disordered eating. I was trained at an inpatient center and continue to work closely with clients struggling with food, body image, and related concerns. My approach emphasizes reducing stigma and helping individuals build a more compassionate, sustainable relationship with themselves.

I am especially passionate about creating a space where people feel seen and empowered as they navigate life transitions, relationship dynamics, identity development, and internalized beliefs that may be impacting their well-being. My goal is always to foster genuine, down-to-earth connections where healing and self-awareness can grow.

My approach to supervision: In supervision, I take a growth-oriented and collaborative stance. I support supervisees in bringing their full selves into the room and help them infuse their personality into their clinical work. I believe in fostering autonomy, encouraging curiosity, and creating space for reflection, always with the goal of helping developing clinicians build confidence and a strong professional identity.

A fun fact: When I鈥檓 not in the therapy room, you can probably find me dancing in my kitchen or trying out new recipes. Loki, my dog, is usually close by, waiting for something to drop.
