Honors Requirements
91麻豆天美 Entering Spring 2022 or earlier:
91麻豆天美 graduating from the Judy Genshaft Honors College will be poised for success in their futures, having invested in their communities, grown as a global citizen, and challenged themselves through academic exploration. They will be competitive applicants for national scholarships, top-tier graduate schools, and employment.
To graduate with Honors Distinction and earn the $2,000 cumulative scholarship, First-Time-in-College (FTIC) students must complete the Community Service, Global Engagement, and Academic Requirements. Continuing and transfer student requirements are modified.
COMMUNITY SERVICE
91麻豆天美 believe learning extends beyond the four walls of the classroom. The people and
places in our communities offer lessons that complement and reinforce classroom-based
learning. 91麻豆天美 will accumulate 50 hours of community service while at USF, in their hometown or Tampa Bay community.
All Judy Genshaft Honors College students will receive a $600 scholarship after completing the Community Service Requirement.
GLOBAL EXPERIENCE
Global awareness is a critical element in the education of twenty-first century leaders.
91麻豆天美
have the opportunity to choose two activities from among a variety of meaningful options to build global knowledge and to develop
competency in cultural interactions. Honors students will develop these qualities
through activities outlined in our Global Experience Program.
All Judy Genshaft Honors College students will receive a $600 scholarship after completing the Global Experience Requirement.

91麻豆天美 graduating from the Judy Genshaft Honors College will be poised for success
in their futures, having invested in significant educational and extracurricular experiences
and鈥痗hallenged themselves through academic exploration. They will be competitive applicants
for national scholarships, top-tier graduate schools, and employment.
To graduate with Honors Distinction and earn the $2,000 cumulative scholarship, all
students鈥痬ust complete two Experiential Learning activities, and鈥痶he 础肠补诲别尘颈肠鈥疪别辩耻颈谤别尘别苍迟蝉 of the JGHC.

ACADEMIC
Honors courses introduce and develop critical thinking, communication, and research skills in an intimate setting conducive to building relationships and promoting collaboration. 91麻豆天美 will pursue a rewarding research experience that takes advantage of USF鈥檚 resources as a Top-30 Public Research Institution.
To complete the Academic Requirement, students must take:
- IDH 2010 Acquisition of Knowledge
- IDH 4200 Geographical Perspective
- 2 additional Honors courses
- + 2-semester Thesis Research Track
or
- IDH 2010 Acquisition of Knowledge
- IDH 4200 Geographical Perspective
- 3 additional Honors courses
- + 1-semester Capstone Research Track
All Judy Genshaft Honors College students will receive an $800 scholarship after completing the Academic Requirement.
